The Motherhood Collective

Since January, I have embarked on a collaborative personal project with a group of like-minded photographer friends that deeply value documenting the connection between mother & child.
As mothers, our children grow quickly. They change in the blink of an eye. And with this growth & change, comes the loss of their memory of snuggles & kisses.
As a photographer & mother, I have committed to this personal project whole-heartedly as a GIFT to my children.
I’m BEHIND the camera always.
My soul gains an immense amount of joy & fulfillment capturing beautiful moments of togetherness for other mothers. It is my ultimate passion.
But in that beautiful moment, DEEP in my heart, I feel an ACHE for MY OWN little ones.
An ache that lingers and tugs deep. Grieving time lost.
This project has forced me to commit to my OWN motherhood moments for my children. So that my children are able to sit with their children one day, sifting through prints of special snuggles with their mama & feel my love for them; ALWAYS.
Life doesn’t guarantee a tomorrow.
So I gifted my children with the memory of today.
Here are our moments from this month, captured with my camera, tripod & remote.
Please continue through the entire blog circle to view all of the beautiful, real moments that these talented photographers have shared with their children. You can start by visiting my friend and fellow photographer, Rebecca at Rebecca Joy Photography to see her gorgeous image with her little ones.
